"Are you even trying?”
"What? How can you not call this trying?”
"How can you call that trying?”
Hi lovelies! I’m sorry for being away for such a long time.
Heather tensed for a second then relaxed into the hug. She had thought for a second there Astrid wouldn’t recognize her. Heather pulled herself out of the hug, gesturing widely around her. A”Astrid, what happened here. This place is a mess?”
She looked at Astrid with worried eyes, questions pouring out of her mouth. “What is Thor’s name could have done this? Is everyone okay? Is Hiccup alright? He’s always getting into trouble.”
Astrid gave Heather a sad smile. “A lot has happened,” she answered with a sigh. “But yes. Everyone is alright. Hiccup’s alright. He’s…” the blonde let out another sigh, a heavier one, before finishing her statement. “He’s chief now.”
bigbabyboo-hiccup asked ;
"You should stop denying your feelings for me" (*winkity wink wink ;) hehe hello :])
Send my muse “You should stop denying your feelings for _____” for their reaction.
"Oh, Hiccup. When have I ever denied my feelings for you? You are just too irresistible.” she said with a hint of sarcasm and swooned mockingly.
"But how am I supposed to think for myself when all I could think about is you?" she joked, smiling impishly.
"You said so yourself, you’re way too fluffy for me,” she said, batting her eyelashes affectionately.
He chuckled, “well, you gotta use that genius brain of yours m’lady.” He said placing a kiss on her forehead. “I know you can do it.”
Astrid rolled her eyes. “Hmm,” she pondered, lips slightly curved into a smirk. “How about you take me out tonight, hm?” she suggested with a wink.
"I can do that." He said with a wink, "Where would you like to go? Itchy armpit of nose hair falls?"
Astrid shrugged a shoulder. “I don’t know,” she paused long enough to flash him another smirk. “Why not take me to the best place you’ve been to?”

SPIT IT OUT!
Hiccup couldn’t keep it in anymore, "Marry me, please?" He half yelled half cried in desperation, he had wanted to ask her for years now but she could see his nervousness.
He shook his head, “I just can’t believe you said yes is all…” He said stroking her back.
"I can’t believe it took you so long to ask," she teased.
"Hey! It is very nerve racking trying to ask you to marry me!" He said defensively. "You’re very intimidating you know?"
Astrid let go and looked at him, narrowing her eyes playfully. “Really? I am?” she said in mock surprise. “Like, how intimidating?” she prompt sarcastically.
"You probably already mentioned that before."
Natt frowned, pausing for a moment and sifting through the stories he’d told. “Are you sure?” he asked. He was fond of that story- perhaps he should find another one to tell when he was a little less than sober. "Fine then, your turn. You tell me one."
Astrid laughed a little at his reaction.
"My turn? What am I supposed to tell?"
